Lore

The Society appears to be filled with elders stuck in their ways, their thinking growing fragile and stagnant. How long will they tinker with trivial rules, basking in their so-called achievements?

Observing the tree scorched by lightning last night sparked an idea. Even such immense natural power must operate under certain laws, doesn't it?

If I can uncover these laws, I might be able to wield that force. Just the thought of it is thrilling. I must begin my research immediately.
